Melt butter in large skillet add onions, celery and carrots and cook on low heat until onions are transparent.
Add spices and cook for 1 minute.
Place breadcrumbs in a large bowl; add onion mixture and broth, mixing all ingredients together.
It is best to prepare this recipe one day prior to baking your chicken or turkey – besides a time saver the herbs have time to soak into the other ingredients making the stuffing very delicious.
Add to turkey or chicken!
*Always opt to use fresh herbs, but if you can’t then use the powdered kind.
