DD's Low Fat/Carbs Crumble Recipe
- 3/4 cup Crushed Walnuts
- 1 cup Large Oats (not quick oats)
- 1/2 cup each of margarine
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
Your favorite fruit - strawberry & rhubarb or mix berries or granny smith apples
- Lay the fruit at the bottom of the dish - about 3/4" deep in the pan.
- Mix together the other ingredients and layer evenly over fruit.
- Bake at 350 for 30 min. for all fruit
- Bake about 40 min for apples, which are firmer.
I usually double the recipe and have it for breakfast.
