DD's Low Fat/Carbs Crumble Recipe

  • 3/4 cup Crushed Walnuts
  • 1 cup Large Oats (not quick oats)
  • 1/2 cup each of margarine
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour

Your favorite fruit - strawberry & rhubarb or mix berries or granny smith apples

  • Lay the fruit at the bottom of the dish - about 3/4" deep in the pan.
  • Mix together the other ingredients and layer evenly over fruit.
  • Bake at 350 for 30 min. for all fruit
  • Bake about 40 min for apples, which are firmer.

I usually double the recipe and have it for breakfast.
